Rockefeller Foundation's president Judith Rodin points out that the research concerning genetically engineered rice received the generous support of the Foundation's deep pockets. The RF will be providing funding to the IRRI to shepherd Golden Rice through national, regulatory approval processes in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
